Early Skate Ski at Lizard Head on RR Grade

Telluride Nordic Ski Association grooms the approximately 3-mile RR grade from the top of the pass towards Trout Lake. It is usually the first Nordic ski track to open for the season. Usually the snow is quite good due to its northern exposure. The course is groomed for Skate and Classic skiing. There is also a snowshoe track. The top of the pass is 10,222 feet. Bring money to put in the box to help TNSA defray costs. We will stay as long as people want. Go at your own pace.
Carpool $10, no dogs.
