8/2 Drive to Lake City
8/3 Horseshoe Basin. Options- Gravel Mtn (13,577) & 13,688B
8/4 Middle Canyon & its W ridge. Option to return via Wetterhorn Basin
8/5 hike to Blackwall (13,073), Wildhorse Peak (13,268) and Dragons Back (12,968) option to summit peaks.
8/6 Back to Durango
Primarily off-trail, some exploratory. Henson Creek crossing on 8/3. Possible easy scrambling and mild exposure.
Carpool TBD. 4WD/HC. Dogs OK if approved.
